City areas
Tignes resort consists of five villages: Tignes Le Lac, Val Claret, Tignes les Boisses, Le Lavachet, and Tignes-les-Brévières, but other names in the area include La Reculaz, Le Franchet and Le Villaret du Nial.
- Tignes-les-Brévières
Features: At only 1550 meters, this small traditional village is more picturesque than the others that make up the resort of Tignes. It has grown in size in recent years and now offers many more facilities whilst still retaining its charm.
Ski areas
- Tovière sector
Features: This massive allows the connection with Val-d’Isère. The highest points are the Tovière (2705m) and Col de Fresse (2580m).
- Brévières sector
Features: It is located in the north-east of the domain and its highest point is the Aiguille Percée (2748m).
Highlight: A great slope – la Sache!
- Grande Motte sector
Features: Grande Motte, at its 3656m, is the summer ski glacier of the area.
